Job Description:
The SalesForce Administrator is responsible for managing, configuring, and optimizing the Salesforce platform with a focus on Service Cloud, Community Cloud and Salesforce eCommerce products. This role supports business operations by ensuring system reliability, enhancing customer engagement capabilities, optimizing ser experience, and enabling data-driven sales performance improvements.
Duties/ Responsibilities:
Salesforce Administration:
- Manage user accounts, customer accounts (Commerce), roles, permissions, and security settings.
- Handle system configuration, including custom fields, page layouts, process builder, and workflows.
- Maintain data integrity through regular audits and data cleansing.
- Manage enhancement tickets and priorities
- Manage deployments and deployment/sprint schedule
- Provide user support by troubleshooting and resolving issues.
- Perform regular maintenance, updates, and Sandbox environment(s)
Salesforce Management:
- Configure and support Service Cloud features such as case management, service queues, and customer support workflows.
- Manage and configure Community updates to Trew’s Customer Portal
- Customize Salesforce application, reports and dashboards as needed.
- Implement automation tools like Process Builder and Flow to streamline service operations.
- Oversee integrations between Salesforce and ecommerce platforms.
- Support Salesforce B2C Commerce and related applications.
- Ensure smooth operation of order management and customer service systems.
Reporting & Analytics:
- Create and maintain dashboards, reports, and performance metrics.
- Analyze system performance and provide actionable insights.
- Training & Support:
- Provide end-user training and technical support.
- Troubleshoot and resolve system issues in collaboration with IT teams.
- Project Management:
- Collaborate with stake holders to gather and document business requirements for major changes.
- Manage project implementations with partners and stakeholder assistance
- Coordinate trainings as needed
- Manage releases and updates, ensuring smooth transitions
Required Skills/ Abilities:
- Strong understanding of Salesforce best practices, configuration, data management, and CRM workflows.
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
- Familiarity with Apex, Visualforce, and Salesforce APIs.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with teams across multiple departments
- Detail oriented with strong organizational skills
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business, or a related field.
- Salesforce Administrator Certification (required); additional Salesforce certifications are a plus.
- 3-5 years of proven experience managing Salesforce Service Cloud and ecommerce integrations.
- Project management experience and ability to lead implementation projects.
- Experience with third-party integration platforms (Boomi, Celigo, etc).
- Experience with telephony integrations a plus
Work Environment
This is primarily a desk-based role, requiring extended periods of sitting and computer use. While the role is mainly desk-based, mobility within the office, manufacturing facility and customer sites may be required for meetings and interactions with colleagues.
Physical Requirements
Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times. Ability to traverse office, manufacturing facility and customer sites.
