Enterprise Architect

We are looking for an experienced and forward-thinking Enterprise Architect to join our team. As an Enterprise Architect, you will play a key role in shaping our clients’ tech landscape. This position is ideal for a strategic leader with a strong background in IT systems, enterprise architecture, and emerging technologies. You will work closely with senior leadership, product teams, and external partners to define and execute an architecture roadmap that supports business objectives and drives innovation across the enterprise.

This role is open to remote work within the US, with preference for the Seattle, WA and Boston, MA areas.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with client business leaders to define IT strategy and ensure alignment with organizational goals and long-term objectives.
• Design and implement end-to-end enterprise architectures, including applications, data, infrastructure, and integrations. Lead platform selection and ensure compliance with best practices.
• Stay current with emerging technologies, providing guidance to clients and their teams to ensure high-quality development.
• Maintain a strong grasp of architectural standards, ensuring in-depth knowledge of security and regulatory compliance.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in IT, with at least 5 years in enterprise architecture or a related role.
• Extensive experience advising and consulting with enterprise leaders on their enterprise architecture.
• Ability to assess current enterprise systems and identify both strengths and gaps.
• Skilled at developing strategic roadmaps for technology that align with business goals.
• Familiarity with emerging technologies like AI, machine learning, and IoT.
• Proven expertise in enterprise IT ecosystems, including applications, data, infrastructure, and security.
• Strong understanding of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud), ERP systems, CRM systems, and middleware technologies.
• Familiarity with Industry 4.0, TMS, BMS, WMS, PLM, SCM systems.
• Exceptional problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making abilities.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey complex technical ideas to diverse audiences.
• Experience in stakeholder management, capable of working collaboratively with various departments and influencing senior management.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative, and dynamic start-up environment.
• Must have and maintain US citizenship or US permanent residency.
• Willingness to travel up to 30% of the time.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Relevant certifications such as TOGAF, AWS Solutions Architect, or PMP are highly desirable.
• Experience deploying and integrating large-scale automation systems.
• Experience establishing and nurturing customer relationships.
